New products : Point Covers

Harley-Davidson FXRD Grand Touring Point Cover with bolts

I will release new products Point Covers at the end of August 2020.

There are 4 types of point covers.

1. 1986 FXRD Grand Touring
No explanation is necessary to describe this point cover. I dedicate this point cover for fanatic fans of Harley-Davidson FXRD.

2. 8bit Digital Ignition
What remarkable is the development of technology. Maybe the time has come to update your ignition system from old point ignition to the latest digital ignition.
Please never forget putting this point cover on your motorcycle when update is done.

3. FLH with checker flag
One of the most popular and iconic name in the series of Harley-Davidson motorcycles is “FLH”, isn’t it?
This cover represents the honor of the king of motorcycles.

4. The age of the Aztec
There was a kingdom in the old days. It was called Aztec empire. That’s all.

These point covers are mainly made of A5056 aluminum alloy, etched parts are brass plates.
Every brass plates have adhesive tape on their back.
Two #8-32 mounting screws will be included.

Aluminum and Brass Speaker Cover for FXRD fairing

Harley-Davidson FXRD with aluminum speaker cover with brass plate

New product “Speaker Cover” for Harley-Davidson FXRD fairing is available.

Base parts are machined from A5052 Aluminum block. Etched covers which have fish scale and both side of the hands on the surface are made of 0.6mm thickness brass plates.

Mounting bolts and well nuts are included.

*Some modifications (reaming the holes) may be necessary when fixing these covers on the fairing.

Prototype of Aluminum Speaker Grill base for FXRD fairing

Prototype of speaker grill base for Harley-Davidson FXRD fairing was completed.

Harley-Davidson genunine speaker grill base is made of resin however this one is made of aluminum.

One problem is how to joint this aluminum base to FXRD fairing.
We don’t want to use plastic clips which Harley-Davidson motorcycle company employed to do it.

We think bolts and wellnuts combination is better solution and we are going to employ this method.

Aluminum and Brass Speaker Covers for FXRD Fairing

Harley-Davidson FXRD brass and aluminum speaker grill

Speaker Covers for FXRD fairing are coming soon.

Deluxe fairing for FXR has two speakers on the both sides of speedometer and tachometer. Each speaker has protection cover made of resin.

Our speaker cover bodies are made of A5052 aluminum and grill parts are made of brass plate.

Harley-Davidson genuine covers adopt plastic clip as a docking method.
We have a plan to use bolts and wellnuts so as to mount and remove the covers easily.

Aluminum main bodies were almost completed.
Remaining brass parts are scheduled for completion in the end of November.
